For Rach Waits, who owns The Studio in downtown Centreville with her husband John, music appreciation is a way of life. “John and I both have music degrees, and we wanted our four children to be able to receive music instruction locally. John was the visonary behind our fine arts studio.” The Studio offers guitar and piano instructions, as well as lessons in all forms of dance including ballet, tap and jazz. They also offer baton lessons, cheernastics, and Kindermusik. “Music is very valuable for our community, and we were thrilled to be able to open our studio this January.” said Waits.
Golf Course
Cahaba Falls Golf Course and Country Club is an 18-hole (semi-private) regulation golf course in Centreville, Alabama. The short layout will reward good shots and provide a fun golf outing for everyone. The course varies from narrow to wide open. The terrain is rolling, and the greens are fast.

Historic District
Bibb County has a deep and enduring history reflected in the architecture of its buildings and homes. Wedding Venue
One of Centreville’s latest attractions is quickly gaining regional attention as a Wedding Venue. The Oaks, a locally owned private business, is located in a gorgeously restored antebellum home and is available for the perfect wedding or private event setting, year round, Southern style!

Centreville is located near distinguished and storied Universities including The University of Alabama, Stillman College, Miles College, The University of Montevallo, Samford University, Birmingham Southern, UA Birmingham, and Shelton State Community College.
Automotive Industry
Centreville is a short drive from the emerging world class automotive production facilities brought to Alabama by Daimler Mercedes Benz. A new Thyssen Krupp steel producing facility is under construction in North Bibb. Automotive vendors and suppliers are making the area their new home.
