Have you ever wondered how GPs manage to skillfully master difficult consultations?! Well now its your chance to try it out for yourself in a safe non-judgemental environment!

Volunteer patients will kindly be donating their time on November 23rd so that some of you lucky few can experience 3 scenarios that GPs will encounter in their working life:
1) The TEARFUL patient
2) The TALKATIVE patient
3) The FLIRTY patient

The scenarios will be approached in groups of 3 – each student will take 1 full history then observe the other 2. So don’t stress! After completing the scenarios our GP tutors are on hand to tell their experiences and give advice for how best to deal with difficult scenarios.

Please arrive for 6pm to take advantage of the FREE PIZZA (yay) then the event will start at 6.30!

Places will be allocated on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis and we only have 18 places available! Although this event could apply to all year groups, we wouldn’t advise first years to attend given the proximity to your exams we don’t want to give you any more reason to stress.

If you would like to attend please email GPsoc at aberdeengpsoc@gmail.com stating your yeargroup in the email.

If you do not get a space you will be placed on the reserve list! If you do have a space but cannot attend please tell us in advance of the event so someone else can come along.

Look forward to seeing you there!
